CBU Basketball to Host Annual Midnight Madness Event on Friday

RIVERSIDE – California Baptist University will host its annual Midnight Madness preseason basketball event on Friday night at the CBU Events Center.
Midnight Madness will begin at 10 p.m. with doors opening at 9 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
Festivities will feature routines by the CBU dance and cheer teams, an introduction to both the men's and women's basketball teams, a 3-point shooting contest and a dunk competition.
State of California COVID-19 Entry Requirements
The State of California issued guidance in August for indoor mega-events with over 1,000 people that went into action on Sept. 20 and is set to remain in place until Nov. 1.
All ages are welcome to attend the event. Guests (ages 12 and up) attending Midnight Madness at the CBU Events Center on Oct. 22 will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Fans will be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status unless socially distanced or actively eating or drinking.
Season Tickets Remain Available to Purchase
Season tickets starting at $99 each guarantee seating for all men's and women's home games and come with exclusive benefits. Season tickets can be purchased online at CBULancers.com/seasontickets.
The CBU men's basketball team will tip off their season on Nov. 9 at home against San Francisco State. The women's team will play on the road at UC Riverside on Nov. 9, and will open the home portion of the schedule against UC Irvine on Nov. 20.
