The Lancers totaled four individual championships and 25 all-conference finishes over the three-day meet. Both were improvements on CBU's previous bests at the WAC Meet, which came with three titles and 17 all-conference performances in 2021.
CBU's men took fifth place in the conference with 92 points, which was .5 of a point ahead of an Abilene Christian squad that fields a full track and field team. The women took eighth with 53 points. The Lancers did it all in a new-look WAC after the addition of as many as four new teams to the conference from a season ago: Abilene Christian, Sam Houston, Lamar and Stephen F. Austin.
Florian Le Pallec headlined the action on Saturday with his second championship run of the weekend. He won the 5,000 meter in 14 minutes, 00.55 seconds.
