It moves CBU's record to 6-2 this season, while Chapman falls to 3-1. The Lancers' final game of the weekend against the host Bulldogs on Sunday night was postponed due to inclement weather. Both teams will look to reschedule the game to a date yet to be determined.

Tristan Felberg played a big role in CBU's win over the Panthers, as the goalie posted 16 saves, two steals and an assist in three quarters of play. Offensively, Gavin McKenzie notched a hat trick for the first time this season and third time in his career. Matt Olsen, Alex Righetti, Toby Bumgardner and Bodhi Bowden all scored twice, as well.

The Lancers scored the first five goals of the game in the opening 10-plus minutes, with Bowden scoring two of those. Chapman never pulled closer than four goals, with CBU extending its lead to as many as 10 (12-2) on the day.

UP NEXT
The Lancers will face their toughest test of the season, with four games against top-10 ranked competition next week. They will head up north and open Western Water Polo Association play as they take on sixth-ranked UC Davis – the reigning champion and preseason favorite in the WWPA – on Friday, Sept. 16, at noon. CBU will stay in Davis for three more games in the Aggie Roundup, with a matchup against second-ranked UCLA on Friday, Sept. 16, and a doubleheader versus No. 10 San Jose State and No. 5 Pacific on Saturday, Sept. 17.
