
Loh Leads Charge After Day One At Johnie Imes Invitational

COLUMBIA --- California Baptist University finished the first day of the Johnie Imes Invitational on Monday, as the Lancers sit in fifth out of 15 teams.
The University of Missouri is hosting the three-day event at the Club at Old Hawthorne with 15 teams traveling in from across the country. The host school leads the field after producing a 2-over-par 290 team score to edge Lipscomb in second with a 4-over-par 292. FIU sits in third with a 9-over-par 297, Illinois State is in fourth with an 11-over-par 299, and CBU rounds out the top 5 with a 13-over-par 301.
Hailey Loh signed a near-perfect round with 15 pars, two birdies, and one bogey to card a 1-under-par 71. She currently sits in a tie for third and is two strokes off the day one leader.

Esther Lee and Samantha Dizon finished their respective rounds with a 4-over-par 76 to place T-27th, while Sofia Chabon is T-42nd with a 6-over-par 78. Damini Law Ghanshyani closed out her day with a 7-over-par 79 to place T-50th.
Siarra Stout of Lipscomb went into the clubhouse as the day one leader with a 3-under-par 69.
The Lancers will look to make a move during moving day on Tuesday, Sept. 27, with a shotgun start at 6 a.m. (PST).
