Men's Soccer Duo Earns WAC Players of the Week Honors

RIVERSIDE - Nolan Premack and Luis Mueller have been selected as the Western Athletic Conference Goalkeeper and Offensive Player of the Week after stellar showings against UNLV and Utah Tech.
Premack did well against an aggressive UNLV side and completely shut down the Trailblazers of Utah Tech on Senior Night. Utah Tech marked his 12th career shutout, putting him in a tie for second-most all-time in CBU history. He currently ranks in the top 30 in the nation in shutouts, with five just this year, and is tied for seventh in Division I in save percentage at 83.3%.
Mueller scored in both of CBU's games this weekend, including netting his sixth career game-winner on Senior Night. His scoring also propelled him into a tie for first in the WAC active rankings in goals with 20, putting him 10 points clear in the active points scored category. Currently, he ranks third in points and fourth in goals in 2023 in the WAC.
CBU will finish the regular season on the road, first facing off against the Wolverines of Utah Valley on Thursday before culminating the season against Air Force on Sunday.
