STUNT Takes Down Trio In Fullerton

FULLERTON - California Baptist University's STUNT team keeps its undefeated season strong, as the Lancers beat Vanguard, UC Davis, and William Jessup. The Lancers open their first home game in the Events Center against Vanguard. Lancers win 3 ties in quarter two and quarter 3. Ending with a 23-3 victory over Vanguard on Wednesday. Bailee Henry was the highest-rated player for the first time this season.
They continue the week on Friday with a perfect game with a 24-0 win over UC Davis. With two stunters of the game, Alexandra Reynolds and Brodi Perrault, and the highest-rated player of the game Michaela Grim with 48 points. Following that night, the Lancers played William Jessup winning 24-5 at Hope International University. With the five ties being in levels 5, 6, and 7, Lancers continue to strive for success and go home with a winning streak of 49-0.
I asked Jordan Bruce, the highest-rated player in Jessup's game, what her favorite routines were, and she said, "I would have to say pyramid 7 is one of my favorites. The baskets I do are really fun, and I get tossed really high. Other than 7, I got to say I love pyramid 1. Getting the chance to perform really big in the center of the pyramid is so much fun!"
The Lancers host The Joust Tournament March 24th-25th, with their first game playing Arizona State University at 8:25pm.
