CBU Named 2024 STUNT The Sport National Champions for Fourth Consecutive Year

LEXINGTON, KY--- The California Baptist University STUNT team won its fourth consecutive national championship on Sunday afternoon against the University of Kentucky. The championship game of the weekend favored the Lancers as CBU took down Kentucky 21-10 for the second time during the two-day tournament.
Under the direction of Head Coach Brandon Seagondollar, California Baptist has achieved four national titles in four years and a perfect 80-0 program record. With the 2024 national championship added to his impressive resume, Seagondollar continues to hold the title of the most decorated and winningest coach in STUNT The Sport history at the Division I level.
The record-breaking win came behind a pair of outstanding performances by Savannah Eshelman and Alexandra Reynolds, who were both named the Highest Rated Players of the game with 63 points each. Jordan Bruce grabbed her final Tumbler of the Game title in her career and Ainsley Johnson was named the Stunter of the Game. The Wildcats did not go down without a fight and scored the most points against the Lancers this season. Ultimately, CBU came out on top and now owns an all-time 7-0 record against the University of Kentucky.
The Lancers finish the season with a perfect 24-0 record and will say goodbye to 11 seniors. Breanna Gonzalez, Jordan Bruce, Sadie Hackford, Karington Sebastian, Ainsley Johnson, and Kaelin Hahn of the senior class were all program founders, as well as four-time national champions.
