CBU Announces 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

RIVERSIDE--- California Baptist University announced its first schedule of the 2025-2026 athletic year on Monday afternoon, revealing a challenging slate for the women's soccer program. The 2024 Western Athletic Conference Tournament Champions will compete in a complete 20-game schedule with nine home games to be played at CBU Soccer Stadium this year.
Kristen St. Clair's squad will kick off their season at home on Thursday, August 14th, as they welcome Cal State University Bakersfield before hitting a five-game road stretch that includes fierce competition in Big Ten regular season champions USC and Big West regular season champions Hawai'i. The Lancers will compete against the Rainbow Wahine at their own tournament in Hawai'i and will also compete against South Dakota State during the tournament. CBU will then return home to Riverside to welcome the University of Nevada on Sunday, September 7th, just days before the infamous Crosstown Showdown will take place against UC Riverside on September 11th at CBU Soccer Stadium.
After heading south to the University of San Diego, the Lancers will return home again to face Weber State in a midweek tune-up before WAC play begins for the reigning tournament champions. CBU will host Abilene Christian on Thursday, September 25th, to open conference play, which will see teams play each other both home and away this season to accommodate program departures from the WAC in Seattle U and Grand Canyon University. After hosting Tarleton State, the Lancers will head to Orem, Utah, to face off against Utah Valley in their first away match of the conference slate. CBU will remain on the road as they compete against both Southern Utah and Utah Tech before returning to CBU Soccer Stadium to play Utah Valley again on Saturday, October 18th.
CBU will round out the final five games of its conference schedule with two home matches against Utah Tech and then Southern Utah, before heading to Texas to face Tarleton State and Abilene Christian. The WAC Tournament for women's soccer will be played in Orem, Utah, this year at Utah Valley's new soccer facility, UCCU Stadium, scheduled for November 5th through November 8th. The first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament is set for Friday, November 14th.
