RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist University women's basketball team released its 2026-27 schedule on Monday afternoon as they venture into its first full season in the Big West Conference.
The Lancers are coming off another 20+win season in which they captured their third WAC Regular Season and Tournament Title en route to a second March Madness appearance in the last three years.
The season will begin on the road for the Lancers as they take on the Oregon State Beavers on Wednesday, November 4, in Corvallis as a part of a two-game road trip. The second part of the road trip will be to St. George, Utah, where they will face off against an old conference rival, Utah Tech, on November 6 at the Burns Arena.
CBU will have its first home game on Friday, November 13, against the Pacific Tigers, before heading back on the road to Northern California to take on San Jose State and UC Davis. The Lancers will return to Riverside during the Thanksgiving Break, where they will host the CBU Classic for the second consecutive season. This time around, the Lancers will take on Idaho and St. Thomas on Nov. 27 and 28.
Big West play will start in early December as they will head down to La Jolla to face the UCSD Tritons before crossing the street to face the UCR Highlanders in the opening weekend of conference action. The Lancers will finalize non-conference action with a pair of home games against Pepperdine and Howard, respectively, and will also have a highly anticipated road game at BYU on December 12 in Provo, Utah.
Conference play will resume on New Year's Eve against UC Santa Barbara on the road before the Lancers finally get a true home conference game on January 7 against CSUN. The game against the Matadors will begin a homestand that will consume five of the next six games on the schedule. Homecoming this year will be on Saturday, February 20, as they will host their crosstown rival, UCR, as part of a doubleheader with men's basketball.
The regular season will finalize on March 6 at home against Long Beach State before the Lancers set their postseason hopes on the Big West Tournament in Henderson, Nevada, which will take place from March 11-14 at Lee's Family Forum.
