Andrea Nuzzo Named to the 2026 Cutino Award Watchlist

RIVERSIDE--- Andrea Nuzzo added another accolade to his already stacked collegiate resume as he was announced as a member of the watchlist for the 2026 Cutino Award by the ACWPC.
The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in men's and women's college water polo. This watch list was created in 2022 in an effort to help promote the collegiate game, awareness of the award, and the tremendous play of athletes across the country.
Nuzzo earns his way onto the watchlist after a phenomenal start to his junior campaign as he leads the Lancers in goals, assists, and points through 18 matches. Nuzzo has scored 85 points already this season for CBU with 40 goals and 45 assists, leading the Lancers to a terrific 15-3 start. Nuzzo has six hat tricks this season, including a career day in the upset win over #6 UC Davis at the MPSF Invitational. In that match, Nuzzo scored 11 points with six goals and five assists as the Lancers defeated UC Davis for the first time in over 11 years.
The Genoa, Italy, native and former All-American has been the catalyst for the Lancer attack, with 14 matches with at least two assists this season, and dished out his 100th career assist last weekend at Stanford. Nuzzo's 199 career goals already place him sixth in the all-time record books for CBU.
