THIS YEAR: The nation’s second leading scorer from 2006, Ryan Steiger is set for a phenomenal senior year ... Is dangerous at two meters ...  Has a potent perimeter arm ... Is a strong leader in the water ... Will be called upon to lead and balance the team offesnsively.

2006: Was second in the nation in scoring with 91 goals which was second all-time for a single season in school history ... Set school record for most multi-goal games with 28 and consecutive games with a steal with 21 ... Moved into seventh all-time on the career scoring chart with 113 goals ... Scored in 12 consecutive games during the season ... Tied for third on the team in assists with 27 ... Recorded 42 steals ... Drew a team-high 33 ejections ... Scored three goals against UC Irvine ... Scored six goals against Gannon ... Scored four goals against George Washington ... Scored five goals against Santa Cruz ...

2005: Enjoyed a breakout sophomore season in 2005, earning pool time in each of the team’s 32 games ... Racked up 16 goals, 26 assists, and 25 steals ... Scored three times and assisted two more in the season-opener vs. Lindenwood ... Dealt out three assists vs. BYU-Hawaii and UC Santa Cruz ... Came away with a trio of steals in consecutive games: BYU-Hawaii and Princeton.

2004: Scored seven goals as a freshman ... Also had seven assists and 14 steals ... Played in 33 games ... Racked up three goals in season-opener vs. Lindenwood ... Had two multi-assist games and two multi-steal contests.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from El Dorado High in Placentia, Calif., in 2004 ... Played three years of varsity water polo ... Named an All-American, All-CIF first team and All-Century League first team as a senior ... Also earned all-league first team as a junior and third team as a sophomore ... Two-time team MVP ...
