- Competed nationally in his native country of France
- Won the 2009 French Junior Cross Country Championship and the French National Championship in the 1500 meter
- Victorious in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the 2014 French 23-and-under National Track and Field Championships
- Owns personal records of 1:54.69 in the 800, 3:52.57 in the 1500 and 8:56.26 in the steeplechase
- Prepped at Lycée Jules Haag Besancon in Besançon, France before also running for IAE Lyon 3 - University Jean Moulin
