Went 9-5 at 184 pounds...started season on a five-match winning streak...won menlo invite 184-pound bracket with a 4-0 record...named to NWCA and RMAC All-Academic honor roll...also competed at the rocky mountain college open and california collegiate open.
2013-14
Did not wrestle in freshman season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped four varsity seasons at Martin Luther King High in Riverside, Calif., graduating in 2013...posted 46-7 record as a senior to finish with career record of 142-37...won CIF and big 8 league championships at 170 pounds as a senior, going on to place second at CIF southern section masters, seventh in CIF state meet and seventh at reno nationals...placed in top eight at CIF all four years, winning championships as a senior and junior...named CIF upper weight MVP as a junior, with all pins in the first period, going on to take second at masters, place top-14 in state.
