2016-17
Earned NCAA Division II all-american honor while taking fourth at the NCAA tournament at 174 pounds...placed third at RMAC western championship at 174 pounds...received all-RMAC recognition as well...took first as a western regional medalist...named NCAA division II elite 90 award winner and RMAC, all-academic honors...logged a 29-11 record and appeared in eleven duals going 7-6 for 21 points...finished the season with thirteen decisions, four major decisions and ten tech wins...received the RMAC summit award and was the RMAC all-american wrestler of the year. 

2015-16
Earned NCAA Division II all-american honor by taking seventh at 165 pounds ... won the 2016 RMAC Championship at 165 and took second at D-II super region IV tournament ... logged a 14-9 record and started five duals ... posted six bonus-point victories, with three pins, two majors and a tech ... named the NCAA division II elite 90 award winner and picked up RMAC and D2Wrestle.com All-Academic honors.

2014-15
Went 24-15 at 157 pounds as a freshman ... started all 18 duals and went 12-6 in dual play ... qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships by placing third in the super west regional with a 4-2 record ... logged 12 bonus-point wins, with four major decisions, technical falls and pins each ... won seven of his last eight matches heading into the postseason ... took fourth in the 157-pound bracket at the RMAC Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped four years at Martin Luther King High School, in Riverside, graduating in 2014 ... was a two-time CIF State champion and team captain as a junior and senior ... won the national freak show championship and placed fifth in CIF state championship as a senior ... picked up All-State honors and won the greco state championship in 2013 ... took second at CIF as a sophomore.

PERSONAL
Born in Riverside ... parents are Harlan and Lori Kistler ... has an older brother, Harlan, who also wrestles for CBU ... majoring in criminal justice ... professional goal after graduation is to be a district attorney ... enjoys long boarding.
