CBU Athletics

2019-20
Graduated holding the ninth-best time in CBU history in the 100-yard breaststroke (55.65)... Took 12th in the 200 breaststroke (2:02.49), 14th in the 100 breast (55.65) and 36th in the 200 IM (1:56.27) at the WAC Championships... Took fourth in the 200 breast (2:07.97) in a dual versus UC San Diego and ninth in the 100 breast (2:04.07) at the Pepperdine Winter Invite... Named to the WAC All-Acaddemic Team.

2018-19
Swam a personal-best and top-10 time in CBU's all-time record book in the 100 (ninth, 56.22) and 200 breaststrokes (2:01.91)... Won the 200-medley relay (1:33.23) and took second in the 200 breast (2:13.97) in a dual with Pomona-Pitzer... Earned WAC All-Academic Team recognition.

2017-18
Won 4x100 IM (3:38.71) in collegiate debut at the PCSC Relays... Took second in the 100 breast (1:00.08) and third in the 200 breast (2:10.87) at the Malibu Invite... Finished third in the 200 fly (2:12.66) and fourth in the 100 breast against Pomona-Pitzer.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped four varsity seasons at Bettendorf High in Bettendorf, Iowa, where he graduated in 2017... Qualified for Junior Nationals in 100 breast, 200 individual medley and relays... Won Iowa State Championships in 200-medley relay and took second in 100 breast... Holds school record in 200-medley relay and earned Automatic All-America honors in the event... Served as team captain two seasons (2016-17)... Earned Academic All-American honors... Made MAC All-Conference and All-Academic team all four years... Swam club at Lane Four Aquatics.

Son of Cathy and Steve Schade... Born in Davenport and raised in Bettendorf, Iowa... Has one sister, Megan, who swims at Indiana State... Has eight other relatives who played sports in college... Aviation flight major... Plans to become a pilot after graduation... Enjoys traveling, discovering new places and meeting new people, with a passion for aviation.
