THIS YEAR: One of the fastest on the team, Kelly Maconachy will cause problems for defenses in the bottom of the order ... Bunts and slap hits well ... Tracks the ball well in the outfield ... Left handed bat causes defenses to play in, but can drive balls into the outfield.
2007: Played in 63 games, starting 62, and hit .308 (40-for-130) ... Scored 40 runs and drove in 12 ... Drew 13 walks ... Was perfect on stolen bases with 14 on 14 attempts ... Was third on the team in stolen bases ... Tied for second on the team in sacrifices with 10 ... Had five multi-hit games ... Went 3-for-3 against Dakota Wesleyan ... Was 16-for-32 when hitting as the lead-off.
2006: Played in 63 games, all starts, as a sophomore ... Hit .265 (39-for-147) ... Notched four doubles, 26 runs and 18 RBI ... Drew eight walks ... Had 10 multi-hit games ... Sacrificed seven times ... Ripped two doubles among three hits, scored a run and knocked in four RBIs against Bethany ... Doubled, singled and knocked in two runs against Grand Canyon (AZ) ... Knocked in two runs and scored twice against Concordia ... Stole 11 bases in 12 attempts ... Hit .325 (27-for-83) with runners aboard, including .350 (21-for-60) with 2 out.
MT. SAC: Attended Mt. San Antonio Junior College in Walnut Calif., for one season ... Was named All-South Coast Conference first-team as a 2005 freshman ... Earned a gold glove award at the state tournament ... Team went 46-4 and captured the 2005 State Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped four varsity seasons at Jurupa Valley High in Riverside, graduating in 2004 ... Received team gold glove award in freshman and senior seasons ... Team went 25-0 in freshman year.
