Makenna played in 21 games, starting 18 in the shortened season... She hit .310 with a triple, scoring eight runs and led the team in steals, going 5-5 on steal attempts.
2019
Played in 39 games and made 16 starts during sophomore season... Batted .283 on the year, hitting her way on base 15 times, scoring 14 times putting together a .345 on-base percentage... Named Academic All-WAC.
ARIZONA WESTERN COLLEGE
Played one season at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Ariz. in 2017-18... Earned Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Second Team honors while leading Matadors to a 21-11 record and third-place finish in the ACCAC... Batted .367 with 48 runs, eight triples and posted a 2.48 earned-run average with 128 strikeouts... Earned ACCAC D1 Pitcher of the Week award after she logged a .167 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 12 innings.

Prepped at Mayfair High in Lakewood, Calif., where she graduated in 2017... Earned distinguished nomination to Lakewood Youth Hall of Fame in 2017-18 as a senior... Picked up three All-Suburban League awards, including a co-MVP award in 2016-17... Received two Press-Telegram's Dream Team honors... Named to All-CIF Southern Section Division III team... Guided Monsoons to co-championship in the Suburban League in 2015-16... Played on OC Pride club team.

Born in Long Beach and raised in Lakewood, Calif... Daughter of Bill and Kelly Stram... Has three siblings: Samantha, Alexa and Breanna... Her cousins, Curtis Grossheim and Adam Verhoeven, also attend CBU... Another cousin, Ryan Roodzant, plays golf at Hawaii Hilo... Enjoys hiking, going to the beach and movies... Galatians 5:22-23 is her favorite Bible passage... Health science major with a minor in Spanish... Plans on becoming a physician's assistant after graduation.
