- Played one season under coach Jeff Harlow at Chaffey College in 2014, redshirted in 2013
- Named first-team All-Southern California and Foothill Conference and Chaffey Defensive MVP as a sophomore
- Hit .366 in 27 regular-season games, batting .412 in conference
- Logged 19 RBI, six doubles, two triples and was 4-for-4 in stolen bases

- Played one season under coach Doug Smith at UC Riverside in 2012

- Born on September 18, 1993, to Jim and Camille Gallaway
- Has one brother, Jordan, and sister, Chelsea
- Family has deep roots in baseball, with five relatives who have played collegiately and four who have connections with professional baseball
- Uncle, Mike Gallego, is current third base coach of the Oakland Athletics; uncle, Mike Snyder and cousins Niko Gallego and Austin Barnes are currently playing in the MLB double-A level with the Toronto Blue Jays, Arizona Diamondbacks and Miami Marlins, respectively
- Majoring in kinesiology, with a minor in sports management
- Plans on being a head baseball coach at the college level after graduation
