Went 4-0 in the shortened season at 197 pounds... Defeated opponents from Little Rock, Cal Poly, North Dakota State and Vanguard... Posted a technical fall for a bonus-point win.

Secured All-American honor with a sixth-place finish at National Collegiate Open... Started all 13 duals and went 14-18 at 197 pounds as a redshirt sophomore... Posted seven bonus-point victories, with four pins... Finished runner-up at California Collegiate Open... Placed fourth at Roadrunner Open.
