Courtney Nelson had a big weekend at the Cal State L.A. Thanksgiving Classic, leading CBU to two wins. On Friday, Nelson went 9-for-16 from the field and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc to boast 30 points in 29 minutes, leading the Lancers to an 82-71 win over last year's California Collegiate Athletic Association conference champions Cal State Dominguez Hills. The next day, Nelson again shined on offense, grabbing 20 points on 5-of-8 shooting to average 25.0 points per game in the two games with a .583 shooting percentage.
