The loss snaps the Lancers' 4-game winning streak as they drop to 24-14 overall. The Warriors, who have won 14 NAIA titles, improve to 27-2.
Four CBU pitchers combined to walk 11, hit 3 batters and throw 246 pitches in the game, which was played in cool conditions with the temperatures only in the high 30s. Wyatt flew out in his first at-bat but hit a grand slam in his second at-bat to put a cap on the Warriors' 9-run first. He hit a 2-RBI double in the second and 2-run homer in the third. He tied a school-record with his 8 RBIs.
Seuss, who now has 15 home runs on the season, hit solo home runs in the second and fourth innings off Warrior starter Chris Kissock, and then a 3-run blast off of Bird in the seventh.
Eric Anderson gave up 4 runs in 2 innings of relief, while Brad Simmons had the most success, giving up just 3 earned runs and striking out 4 over the final 5 innings.
Zach Aguirre was 3-for-4, while Steve Goins, Brandon Peters and Jordan Monroe each had 2 hits apiece.
