CAMP DATES SET

RIVERSIDE, Calif. ? California Baptist has announced its 2008 junior high and high school girl's volleyball camp dates. The camp, set to run from August 4-6, is designed for all competitive female athletes who wish to develop their overall volleyball skills. Each day will contain specialized training and instruction in serving, passing, hitting, setting, blocking, and defense. There will be an opportunity for athletes to become specialized in one particular skill area, if they wish, over the course of three days at the camp.
In each session, athletes will be divided into groups based upon skill level and age, to ensure proper instruction and to help maintain a fun environment. The cost of the camp is $165.
CBU head coach Ryan McGuyre, who begins his seventh season at the helm of the program, will run the camp along with assistant coaches Jennifer McGuyre and Trevor Johnson. The Lancer women's volleyball team finished as the runners-up of the 2008 NAIA National Tournament and won national titles in 2005 and 2006.
