POMONA, Calif. --- The NAIA's No. 2-ranked California Baptist University won all six singles' matches in straight sets Friday to key its way to a 9-0 win at NCAA Division II Cal Poly Pomona.
The win is the Lancers' 13th straight as they improve to 14-1 overall. The Broncos fall to 5-10.
CBU took a 3-0 lead after doubles, sweeping through each match. Carlos Cirne-Lima and Oliver Andrzjczuk were pushed to a tiebreaker by Eric Carlstrom and Jeff Vachirajongkol, but the Lancers' No. 2 team picked up the 9-8 win. After that, the Lancers rolled through singles' play, winning all but one set by 6-3 or better.
