RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- No. 15 California Baptist University added two more wins to its season total on Friday at the Claremont Convergence. The Lancers (17-3) defeated George Washington 16-7 and Lindenwood 20-9.
CBU flexed its muscles and depth in game one with goals from nine Lancers, including a season high five from Keith Jizmejian.
Aaron Steiger was his usual self, scoring three times against George Washington (5-11). Chris Toy added two goals in what was an otherwise unchallenging match for the Lancers.
CBU was able to get all 25 players in the pool en route to its 9 goal win.
In the second match of the day the Lancers paired off against the 8-8 Lindenwood Lions.
This time it was Ogden's turn to shine as he netted six goals to lead CBU to a 20-9 victory. Steiger continued his record pace with another three scores to give him six on the day.
Jizmeijan, the game one standout, followed up his George Washington performance with another goal.
CBU will complete its six-game weekend Saturday at Claremont, where it will hope to extend its four game win streak.
