RMAC Honors Three Lancers

RIVERSIDE, Calif.--- According to the 2014-15 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Week 1 Release, three Lancers earned athletes of the week after competing at the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC) Relays, hosted by Biola.
Junior Josh Hanson earned RMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week honor, Hanson grabbed three first-place finishes in the 100-yard fly (50.10 seconds), 100-yard back (50.75) and 200 individual medley (1:52.99), which combined for the fastest time (5:19.25) of the meet in the long pentathlon—100 fly, 100 back, 100 breast and 200 IM.
Hanson's 100-yard fly time was nearly four seconds fastest than the next swimmer, who finished in 54.17 seconds.
Junior Yosita Hapsari grabbed the RMAC Women's Swimmer of the Week honor by posting an impressive individual win in the women's 200-yard freestyle, with a time of 1:55.93.
Hapsari also took second in the 25-yard free, sprinting to finish in a time of 11.60 seconds, as well as a time of 5:07.92 in the 500-yard free to take second.
Hapsari claimed her second first-place finish of the day with a 52.61 100-yard free time.
On the diving board, Breanne Schlenger was named diver of the week by RMAC.
Schlenger who was picked as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Diver of the Year—started the year off with a first-place finish, scoring 468.20 points to lead the Lancers.
