LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- With the final meets of the season coming up, California Baptist University used the Oxy Invitational as a tool to prepare for the NCAA Division II Championships.
Veronica Hall kept on setting records at Occidental College's event on Saturday. In the 1500-meter run, Hall finished in eighth place with a time of four minutes, 27.82 seconds, which moved her in the top-12 time in the nation.
Millie Leitich not only finished 33rd overall (fourth in her heat) during the 1500, but also set a new personal record with a time of 4:47:32.
In the 800, Alicia Williams finished in second place with a time of 2:12.84. Leitich finished first in her heat in the same race, clocking in at 2:16.34.
Katie Deimling finished in seventh place clocking in at 11:08.34 in the 3000-meter steeplechase, while Caroline Barkechir took 19th in the 5000 with a time of 17:11.06.
