Glenn Voted PacWest Freshman of the Week

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – John Glenn led California Baptist University's offense at 12th-ranked Colorado Mesa last week and was voted the PacWest Freshman of the Week as a result.
Glenn batted .462 in the 14th-ranked Lancers' non-conference finale series in Grand Junction. CBU earned a series split, with Glenn going 6-for-13 at the plate, with four runs batted in, two home runs, a double and three runs scored. He accumulated 13 total bases to slug 1.000 and maintained a perfect fielding percentage with 21 putouts. The true freshman logged two hits in all three games he started at CMU and homered in two games.
CBU opens PacWest play this week against Fresno Pacific at Totman Stadium. Game one is set for a 6 p.m. start Thursday, followed by a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Friday and series finale Saturday at noon.
