
CBU Basketball to Host Second Annual Tip-Off Dinner

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — California Baptist University men's and women's basketball will host the second annual Tip-Off Dinner on Friday, Oct. 19, in the CBU Events Center, with special host Casey Jacobsen.
Fans have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy great food while getting to know CBU's new dance team, the Golden Girls (game day cheer squad), women's basketball and men's basketball teams. Programming begins at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for check-in and a reception with passed hors' devours. Fans will also have an opportunity to take pictures with coaches and players following the conclusion of the event.
Jacobsen, a former professional basketball player and current TV analyst for Fox Sports 1, Spectrum SportsNet and the Pac-12 Network, will emcee a Q&A session with members of both basketball teams, while Coach Rick Croy and Coach Jarrod Olson will provide a "Chalk Talk," previewing the upcoming season, CBU's first in NCAA Division I.
Tables (seating six guests and at least one player) range from $400-$1,000. Individual tickets are normally $50, but $40 for season ticket holders or Lancer Athletic Association members.
