
Harper Named WAC Player of the Week

DENVER -- California Baptist University sophomore Caitlyn Harper was named the first Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
Harper led the Lancers to a 2-0 start on opening weekend, with wins over Long Beach State and CSUN at home while averaging 18 points, 8.5 rebounds and going a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. Her weekend was highlighted by a career high 22 points against Long Beach State on opening night, where she also tallied nine rebounds and three blocks.
The Lancers will be back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 13, when they take on the Ottawa (Ariz.) Spirit at 6:00 p.m. in the CBU Events Center.
