Strang and Schrader ended the night on a high note in the Lancers' 27-6 loss to the Midshipmen, who were competing in their third dual of the year. There were several tightly-contested matches throughout, with five of Navy's victories coming on decisions.
The Midshipmen are coming off a strong season in which they finished 37th at the 2019 NCAA Championships and had two top-15 ranked wrestlers in their lineup Saturday. CBU returns to action in one week, hosting Life Pacific for a noon dual on Saturday, Nov. 9 in the Van Dyne Gym.

It was Strang who picked up the first victory of the night for the Lancers, defeating Andrew Buckley 6-3 in the 184-pound matchup. Strang started fast with a takedown in the opening minute, but Buckley tied it up in the second period after two escapes. Strang went back in front with an escape seven seconds into the third period, and then put the match away with a takedown in the final 15 seconds.
