Changes Announced for CBU-UCR Series

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – For the third week in a row, forecasted rain has shifted around California Baptist University's schedule for its three-game series with UC Riverside.
UC Riverside will still host the series opener at the Riverside Sports Complex on Friday at 6 p.m., but the Lancers' originally scheduled home game for Saturday has been pushed back 26 hours. That makes Sunday a doubleheader, with UCR hosting the first game of the day at 1 p.m. before both teams pack up and move over Totman Stadium for the finale Sunday at 6 p.m.
The fireworks show originally scheduled for after Saturday's game will take place on Sunday night. There will also be postgame fireworks at Totman Stadium on March 9, (Pacific, 5 p.m.), April 13 (CSU Bakersfield, 6 p.m.) and May 10 (Chicago State, 6 p.m.).
CBU was the first team in NCAA Division I to nine wins, and is receiving votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association latest Top-30 poll.
Fans with tickets to Saturday's rescheduled game will be honored on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online or through the CBU Events Center Box Office at 951-552-8279 and tickets@calbaptist.edu.
