RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Six wins in its last seven duals have improved the record of California Baptist University's STUNT team to 5-2 this year.
The Lancers are currently ranked sixth in the NCAA Division I STUNT rankings after their season came to an end in Irvine this weekend. The Lancers earned wins over 10th-ranked Brigham Young (15-12) and No. 9 UC Davis (16-9), while suffering a loss to fifth-ranked Sacramento State (16-11).
CBU went 2-0 the week before with a 13-10 win over Riverside City College and another 16-9 win on UC Davis. RCC is ranked fifth in the D-II/III poll.
At 5-2, the Lancers boast the third-best record in the Division I standings behind Oklahoma State and Cal Poly and could move up the rankings when they are released again on Friday.
