Total Team Outing for Lancers

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – California Baptist University placed six runners in the top-10 at the Chris Rinne Twilight on Friday night at UC Riverside.
In 800 meter competition, Fruzsina Ladanyi took second place, setting a new personal best and etching her name at fifth in the school record books with a time of two minutes, 14.24 seconds. Natalia Novak immediately followed Ladanyi for a third-place finish, and set a new personal best of her own in 2:15.05. Anna Bartlett (11th, 2:26.43) ran her first 800 meter of her collegiate career.
In the 1,500 meter, CBU placed five runners in the top-11. Emilie Renaud crossed the finish line at 4:36.22 to take fourth place, while Anna Mate crossed at 4:44.06 to take sixth.
The next three Lancer runners crossed within four seconds of one another, with Linda Palumbo (4:45.44), Anett Somogyi (4:48.66) and Maria Paula Guerrero (4:49.35) taking the seventh, ninth, and 11th spots, respectively.
Mary Andrews (19th, 4:59.70) and Chloe Beedy (30th, 5:18.75) rounded out the Lancer's 1,500 meter competitors.
CBU returns to the track with a split-squad competing at both the Mt. Sac Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 18th and 19th.
