RIVERSIDE -- Fresh off its highest offensive output of the season, California Baptist University will host Kansas City and Chicago State in the penultimate home series of the season. After scoring over 100 points for the second time this season, the Lancers will aim to avenge a 10-point loss earlier this season to the Roos and double up their win total against the Cougars for the 2020 season.
With just six games left in the season, the Lancers sit in eighth place in the conference, but just three game out of third place in a Western Athletic Conference that has seen a different leader at the end of three of the past four weekends.
GAME INFORMATION
Opponent: vs. Kansas City
Date: Feb. 19th
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: CBU Events Center

Wednesday will mark the final contest between the two schools as conference foes. Kansas City will make the jump from the WAC to the familiar confines of the Summit League, which was their conference home prior to joining the WAC in 2013.
With 16 victories on the season already, the Roos have matched their win total from 2018-19 (16-15). A win on Wednesday would match the fourth highest win total in the program's Division I history. The Roos take their inside defense very seriously, leading the WAC in blocks per game with 4.6, which also ranks them 38th in all of NCAA Division I.
CBU's Lexy Ram put up a double-double (17 points, 12 rebounds) in the City of Fountains, but it wasn't quite enough as the Roos took the 75-65 win after pulling down 32 rebounds, 23 of which were of the offensive variety.

Chicago State has just one win to their credit this season, but it came on the road in a conference game at CSU Bakersfield. So the Cougars are not to be taken lightly, as they have proven that they can win in a hostile California environment.
CBU will look to remain perfect in the head-to-head match up, with the Lancers winning by an average of 26 points per game. The Lancers also average 10 made three-pointers per contest with CSU, their highest average against any WAC opponent.
