
Chee And Chabon Lead Lancers At Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational

LAKEWOOD --- Jocelyn Chee and Sofia Chabon both finished inside the top-10 after the first day of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, as the Lancers sit in seventh out of 20 teams.
The two-day tournament is being held at the Tacoma Country & Golf Club in Lakewood, Washington, as Seattle U is hosting the 20-team field. It marks the largest field the Lancers have teed it up with this season.
After an opening-round 20-over-par 308 team score, the Lancers were tied for 10th. CBU then shaved nine strokes off its previous score with an 11-over-par 299 team score to move up four spots on the day. The 308-299=607 team score is three strokes off of fourth place.
Seattle U went into the clubhouse as the day one leader with a 287-295=582 team score. Santa Clara is in second with a 591 team score, while Utah Valley is in third with a 594 team score. Boise State holds the four-stroke advantage over the Lancers in fourth with a 604 team score.
Chee put together an excellent 36-hole performance, recording a 1-over-par 72-73=145 to place tied for third. Chee is currently two strokes off the lead, as Seattle U's Rivekka Jumagulova finished with a 1-under-par 70-73=143. Chabon finished closely behind Chee at T-9th with a 4-over-par 77-71=148.
Hailey Loh and Haruka Shintani are both T-63rd with a 13-over-par 157, while Esther Lee is currently T-105th.
The Lancers will look to climb up the leaderboard during Tuesday's final round with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
