
Citherlet Goes Low During Second Round Of Visit Stockton Invitational

STOCKTON --- Sean Citherlet led California Baptist University on day two of the Visit Stockton Invitational, as the Lancers sit T-13th out of 15 teams.
Citherlet made the largest move up the leaderboard in the second round, climbing up 22 spots with a 2-under-par 69 to place T-50th with a 2-over-par 144. Eeli Kujanpää is still the frontman for the Lancers, sitting at T-26th with a 2-under-par 68-72=140.

Luke Bartram also climbed up the leaderboard with a 1-over-par 72 to move up five spots at T-70th with a 148 total. John Hayes is currently T-80th with a 9-over-par 76-75=151, while James Mackie is T-82nd with a 10-over-par 72-80=152. Min Jun Kim competed as an individual for the Lancers and is in 89th with a 158.
The conditions were wet all day, as a two-hour delay was needed in the morning due to rain. Washington State still holds a strong lead over the 15-team field with a 26-under-par 542 team score. San Jose State moved up two spots to sit four strokes off the lead after a 13-under-par 271 second-round score. BYU is in third with a 21-under-par 547 team score, and Saint Mary's is in fourth with a 19-under-par 549 team score.
Javier Barcos of Utah secured the day two lead after an 8-under-par 63 moved him up two spots at 13-under-par.
The Lancers will make their final push during Saturday's round, as this tournament will conclude the fall schedule. A shotgun start is set for 7:45 a.m.
