XC PREVIEW: CBU Prepares For Another Packed Field at UNLV's Battle Born Challenge

LAS VEGAS – California Baptist University cross country will run at UNLV's Battle Born Collegiate Challenge on Friday in its final tune-up for the Western Athletic Conference Championships.
As has been the case all year, the Lancers will go up against a talented field in Las Vegas, with seven ranked teams on the men's and women's sides. The men will run first at 10 a.m. and the women will go next at 10:45 a.m. at Craig Ranch Regional Park. UNLV will provide live results for the meet.
There are seven top-40 ranked teams on the men's side, with second-ranked Northern Arizona, fifth-ranked Stanford, No. 10 Colorado, No. 25 Colorado State, No. 33 Southern Utah, No. 36 Wyoming and No. 40 Wyoming headlining the field, with Nevada rounding out the nine-team field with CBU.
For the women, they will face fourth-ranked New Mexico, fifth-ranked Colorado, sixth-ranked Stanford, No. 11 Boise State, No. 16 Northern Arizona and No. 32 Utah. Southern Utah, Colorado State, Nevada and Washington State complete the 12-team field.
