
CBU Takes on Air Force in Colorado

USAFA, COLORADO SPRINGS – The 15th-ranked California Baptist University men's water polo team traveled to Colorado Springs on Saturday to take on Air Force in the penultimate regular season game of 2022. The game was tight for all 32 minutes, but the Falcons would ultimately take it by a score of 16-14.
Cameron Cullen led the charge for the Lancers, netting four goals, his sixth hat trick-or-better this season. Thomas de Wit set up one of those goals, increasing his program record assist total to 83 with one more game to go.
Today's result pushes CBU's season record to 21-12 overall and 3-4 in the Western Water Polo Association, while Air Force improves to 22-9 this year and 3-3 in conference.
The Lancers will close out the regular season with one more WWPA match at Concordia (CA) on November 2. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
CBU's 21 wins are the most in a season since the 2018 campaign. CBU has won program-best 22 games twice during the NCAA-era in 2016 and 2018.
