Game One – Texas
The Lancers opened the Friday tournament against the Longhorns, taking the first four points in the opening quarter. Texas was able to get on the board in the second quarter, but CBU would use another four-point quarter to go into the half up 8-1. The Longhorns grabbed their final point of the game in the third quarter, as the Lancers closed out the fourth quarter in perfect fashion to record the 21-2 victory.
Vanessa Copeland was the highest-rated player with 61 points.
Game Two – Texas Tech
With an hour break before taking on the Red Raiders, the Lancers showed no signs of slowing down in game two. CBU jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead in the first half and didn't look back. In the third quarter, the Lancers kept it going, winning all four points in jumps and tumbling. CBU won eight of the nine awarded points in the final quarter to beat Texas Tech, 20-1.
Jordan Bruce was the highest-rated player with 79 points – the second-highest total on the season so far.
Game Three – Kentucky
CBU ended the day with its third perfect game of the season and in the program's history. The 21-0 victory over the Wildcats also marks the fourth shutout in the program's history.
For the sixth straight game this season, the Lancers opened the first quarter with a 4-0 lead. It was smooth sailing from there on out, as the Lancers followed the sweep of partner stunts with a 4-0 sweep in the pyramid and tosses. The Lancers closed out the day winning a point in each round in the final two quarters to complete the perfect game.
Vanessa Copeland was the highest-rated player with 72 points. It marks Copeland's third game this season recording the highest-rated player.
CBU will close out the two-day tournament on Saturday, Feb. 19, as the Lancers will face Oklahoma Baptist at 4 p.m. and Oklahoma State at 5 p.m. (PST).
