Lancers Win Championship At First-Ever Home Tournament

RIVERSIDE— California Baptist University's STUNT team continued to dominate as it faced Arizona State in the Championship game with a 21-1 victory. This resulted in the Lancers winning the overall Joust Tournament.
Lancers came out strong in the first half. Winning all four rounds of the first and second quarters, Lancers led with a score of 8-0 heading into halftime.
They held onto their lead as they received all four points in group jumps and tumbling to bring the score to 12-0. The Lancers ended the fourth quarter by receiving points in each round leading them to "The Joust" victory over Arizona State 21-1.
The Lancers have extended their winning streak since the beginning of their program with 30 straight wins. They are now 15-0 on the season, only having one more regular-season game left.
Next, up for the Lancers, they will head to Fullerton on March 30 as they will face Vanguard University at 6:30 p.m. for the completion of their regular season.
