Lancers End Regular Season Perfect After Win Over Vanguard

FULLERTON --- California Baptist University's STUNT team closed out the regular season Wednesday night, as the Lancers continued their perfect season with a 21-4 victory over Vanguard.
With the win, the Lancers close out the regular season with a perfect 16-0 mark and extend their winning streak to 31-straight wins since the program's inception.
The Lancers enjoyed a healthy start to the opening quarter, taking a 4-1 lead after four rounds of partner stunts. The Lancers grabbed all four points in the second quarter to maintain an 8-2 lead at the break.
California Baptist remained perfect in the final two quarters, running away with the game, producing its 11th victory while achieving the maximum points.
Jordan Bruce was the highest-rated player with 77 points. It marks her fifth honor on the season.
The Lancers will enjoy almost a month's break as they gear up to defend their national title at the STUNT National Championships on April 22-24 in San Antonio, Texas.
