Lancers Close Weekend Jam Packed with Four Top-10 Games

DAVIS – California Baptist University men's water polo wrapped up a weekend jam packed with four games against top-10 ranked opposition at the Aggie Roundup on Saturday.
The 16th-ranked Lancers fell to No. 5 Pacific and 10th-ranked San Jose State on respective scores of 16-7 and 20-9 at UC Davis' Schaal Aquatics Center.
Tristan Felberg tallied 15 saves and two steals against Pacific, while Thomas de Wit had a team-high four points on three assists and a goal. Joseph Griffin scored his fourth hat trick of the season, while Cameron Cullen and Ian Ecoto each had two assists.
Earlier in the day, Angel Sanchez and Caleb Teraoka each had three points on two goals and an assist versus San Jose State. Matt Olsen also drew four ejections and scored in the game, while Bodhi Bowden and Toring Stanley both tallied a goal and an assist.
UP NEXT
CBU will next make its much-awaited home debut on Thursday, Sept. 22 with a doubleheader against Biola and Concordia. The Lancers will play Biola in a Western Water Polo Association tilt at noon, while the Concordia game will be a non-conference affair at 6 p.m.
