DALLAS - California Baptist University STUNT plays in Dallas Baptist University Tournament against the University of Texas at Austin. The Lancers STUNT currently holds 41-straight victories in their program history with the shutout win over Texas in their final game at the Dallas Baptist Tournament with a score of 24-0.
Â
The Lancers STUNT team closed their tournament in Dallas, TX, against Power 5 school, University of Texas at Austin. From the start of the game, the Lancers dominated the Longhorns ending both the first-and-second quarter with all possible points.Â
Â
Vanessa Copeland, fifth-year in the CBU program, and player of the game, states her favorite routine to play is Partner Stunt six, "because it's been a challenging one for us to get. It's been nice seeing my teammates work together to get the new skills in it. My favorite pyramid is four because it's overall such a clean routine. It's very pleasing to the eye & a fun routine to execute."
Â
The Lancers still kept the ball rolling in the third quarter as they came out on top of all four rounds in jumps and tumbling.Â
Â
I asked Kara Crivelli, second-year in CBU STUNT and tumbler of the game, what she is looking forward to most this season and she said, "I am most looking forward to our home games in the CBU Events Center and filling up the stands with our friends and families."
