STUNT Finishes the Arizona State Tournament with Convincing Sweep

TEMPE, AZ – California Baptist University STUNT finished its opening weekend with another pair of wins on Saturday at the Arizona State Tournament. The Lancers move to 3-0 on this young season and extend their current win streak to 37 games in a row.
The Lancers began the day with another shutout victory, building an 18-0 lead over Arizona Christian before the contest was stopped via the mercy rule. A few hours later, they defeated their hosts, Arizona State, 23-2.
The Lancers had big performances today from Breanna Gonzalez and Michaela Grim to earn both victories. Gonzalez tallied 51 points in the game against Arizona Christian before it was stopped, and Grim recorded a weekend high of 59 against the Sun Devils.
CBU STUNT is back on the road in two weeks, taking on Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma Baptist, and Texas in Dallas, Texas.
