SACRAMENTO--- On day two of the NCAA West Regionals, Yasna Petrova of California Baptist University was the lone competitor in the women's 10K. Petrova finished 21st in the loaded field with a time of 33:26.56.
Petrova entered the 10K as the 31st seed out of 48 competitors and the third-best time in the Western Athletic Conference. Petrova improved her seed by ten spots making it four out of four Lancers thus far to improve upon their starting seed in the West Regionals.

Petrova will get another shot at a Nationals bid when she competes in the women's 5K on Saturday at 8:10 p.m.
Next, Giedrius Valincius, Valentin Soca, and Matias Reynaga will compete in the men's 5K on Friday, May 26th, at 8:10 p.m. on day three of the West Regionals.
