Men's Basketball Announces the Signing of Nate Garcia to the Class of 2025

RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist University men's basketball team announced the signing of Damien High School standout Nate Garcia to its class of 2025.
Garcia was the MVP of the Baseline League during his Sophomore and Junior years and was named Player of the Year in the San Gabriel Valley for his sophomore and junior years as well. The 7'0 center has broken five school rebounding records for Damien High School in La Verne, California. During his sophomore campaign, Garcia scored a career-high 48 points in a game and posted averages that year of 21 ppg and 15 rpg.
Academically, Garcia has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, earning exemplary recognition in both Chemistry and Spanish Language Arts. He is a scholar athlete who is enrolled in multiple Advanced Placement courses for his sophomore, junior, and senior years. Graduating from Damien High School, Garcia has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
