Lancers Go 2-0 on Friday in Fullerton

FULLERTON--- The California Baptist STUNT program kicked off the weekend in Fullerton, California at the Hope International STUNT Tournament on Friday evening. The Lancers picked up another two wins in their undefeated season against UC Davis and Vanguard University.
Starting the day against the Aggies, California Baptist tallied their third shutout of the season with a 24-0 win against UC Davis. Breanna Gonzalez earned her first Highest Rated Player nod of the season with 40 points, while Bailee Henry was named Tumbler of the Game and Ainsley Johnson was named Stunter of the Game.
In their second outing of the day, the Lancers battled the Vanguard University Lions and came away with a 24-4 win. Henry secured the Highest Rated Player honor with 91 points on the mat, her highest number of points in single game this season. Amanda Acosta and Layla Langrell were named Tumbler and Stunter of the Game, respectively.
The Lancers return to the mat on Wednesday, February 28th against Hope International in Van Dyne Gym for CBU's first home game of the season.
