GOODYEAR, AZ--- The California Baptist women's golf program completed its final regular season event on Wednesday afternoon after finishing in third as a team at the Bobcat Desert Classic hosted by Montana State. Pusanisa Ekkantrong had the Lancer's best finish of the tournament, carding an overall 214 final score and tying for fifth place.
Ekkantrong kicked off the week strong for CBU and earned the Lancer's lowest score of the tournament during the first round, scoring 5-under par. She continued her winning ways in the following two rounds and carded a pair of under-par scores that solidified a fifth-place finish for the true freshman. Sofia Chabon also had a solid week in Arizona, finishing in sixth after an impressive 3-under par final round. Tying for 12th was Samantha Dizon after her best round of the tournament came on the first day as she scored an even 72.

California Baptist will now rest and recharge before heading to Payson, Arizona, to compete in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament beginning on April 19th through the 21st.
