WGOLF Preview: CBU Set to Finish Regular Season in Arizona

RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist women's golf team is headed to Goodyear, Arizona, next week to compete in the Bobcat Desert Classic hosted by Montana State. The last time the Lancers competed in this tournament was in 2021, ending the weekend in third place of 11 clubs.
The three-day tournament will take place from Monday through Wednesday with 18 holes per day at The Golf Club of Estrella. The par-72 course was ranked 19th by GolfPass on the Best Golf Courses in Arizona list in 2019 and is home to an expansive 7,102 unique yards against Sierra Estrella Mountains.
Head Coach Marc Machado will travel with Burberry Zhang, Sofia Chabon, Samantha Dizon, Pusanisa Ekkantrong, and Esther Lee while Damini Law Ghanshyani will compete as an individual at the event. The Lancers will be looking to finish the regular season strong before heading to Payson, Arizona, for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament in just two weeks.
