RIVERSIDE--- Former Lancer guard Blondeau Tchoukuiegno signed a multi-year deal with KK Vrijednosnice Osijek of the Croatia-Premijer Liga, the top league in Croatia. The Osijek-based club was founded in 1980 and currently competes in a 12-team league in Croatia.
Tchoukuiegno spent three seasons with New Hampshire before transferring to CBU, where he would spend his final two collegiate seasons for the Lancers. Tchoukuiegno played 65 games while making 38 starts at guard in his two seasons in Riverside.
Blondeau put up career bests in points, points per game, steals, field-goal percentage, and free throws in his final season for the Lancers. Tchoukuiegno was an integral piece of the rotation for CBU and scored a career-high 23 points on 60% shooting at Grand Canyon in late February. Tchoukuiegno scored his 1,000th collegiate point in his final season and amassed 1,119 total points in his career.
Tchoukuiegno was a model of consistency for the Lancers, only missing one game in two seasons while averaging 25 minutes per game. Tchoukuiegno scored in double-figures 27 times as a Lancer, including a streak of nine games to close out his senior season.
Tchoukuiegno will join KK Vrijednosnice Osijek for the 2024-25 season beginning on September 28.
